Headshots for Finance Executive

Last month I had the incredible opportunity to photograph fellow Chief Linda Schulte. I asked her what piece of advice she would give younger women.

Linda answered, “Always be a friend to yourself. Treat yourself as you would your closest friend — with your expectations, your kindness, your forgiveness, your praise. I wish I would have done this more.”  

“Lots of people along the way will give you advice,” she continued. “Decide each time if that advice is healthy for you. Feedback is a gift, and like any gift, it’s the thought that counts.”

Linda, thank you for sharing your wisdom. I think it's taken many of us years to be a friend to ourselves. Thank you for sharing this lesson with those just making their way.
