Beyond Borders: Lewis Frampton's Journey from UK Airports to US Leadership
I had the honor of photographing Lewis Frampton. Lewis, thank you for the opportunity!
Lewis is from England. I asked him about his journey to America and how he ended up in New Jersey. He told me about growing up in England, and taking engineering courses that led to him working at major airports in the UK. He spoke about loving airport work, and how interesting it was. He talked about the opportunity he was given to come to America and working in the pharmaceutical and life science fields. He had no reservations about picking up and coming to a new country … with the focus on adventure and excitement about where this move would take him, and what adventures lay ahead.
That was 8 years ago and Lewis may have seen more of the states than most. He loves traveling, and has been lucky to live in Indiana, Boston, Florida and New Jersey with frequent travel to a variety of other states, on both coasts and the middle of the country.
But what stuck out most when we talked was how Lewis has grown in his position, too. In the last two years he’s grown to managing a team of 25 people. He really takes to heart growing and developing his team and has a strong focus on emotional intelligence.
Lewis mentioned good relationships are so important. And, being known for doing the right thing and keeping promises is just as important.
Thank you, Lewis! I agree! Having integrity is so paramount!
