Headshots Tell A Story

I had the honor of photographing Sil Curiati. Sil, thank you for the opportunity!

I asked Sil to tell me about STORY. Here is what she said:

"I have always loved stories, and every time I see an image, I try to connect it with words -- "what is this telling me? Where does it come from? Where is it taking me? Who is behind it?" -- are just some of the questions I ask myself.

For the past few years, I've been supporting women and their stories, empowering them to take ownership over the many things they went through and to see how they've become much more skilled and strong, talented, original, and remarkable because of all that. STORY by Sil Curiati is about all of us and our stories. So when I decided to get a new headshot, I needed it to be done by someone who created a new story for herself, too, such as Alissa. Someone who, like me, also loves stories, and is able to translate my words into images."

Sil's takeaway: "I truly believe that when women connect their stories with each other, our voices become stronger and even more powerful."
