The Importance of Knowing You’re Enough

I recently had the privilege to photograph executive coach, Antonia Bowring. Antonia was named on the 2021 Top Coaches List (NY), but her most recent accomplishment is something close to her heart.

“I actually submitted the final piece of my upcoming book to my editor right before we talked. I am super proud of this book, Coach Yourself: Increase awareness, change behavior and thrive. It’s a really simple, friendly reference book of coaching frameworks that I wish I’d had when I started coaching. These are tools I use all the time. I felt drawn to share them with others who maybe can’t afford a coach. That’s why I came to Alissa for a headshot—I needed an author photo.”

I asked Antonia to share a piece of advice she would have given her younger self: “You really are enough. At a certain point, more education and more credentials don't make you more. You are enough based on who you are and your values and having humility and a learning mindset. If there was a way to impart that knowledge from this side of 50, to late 20s early 30s that would be a huge gift.”

Thanks, Antonia, for sharing your wisdom and congratulations on your book!
